Packing - Mal wieder Packen

Today was a little bit of a stressful day. I had managed to book my hostel last night. I am staying at the Adelaide Hostel in San Francisco from Tuesday until Friday. It was kind of hard to pick the hostel as they are so many; however they have a service where they pick you up from the airport and drop you off directly and vice versa. That way I am saving myself time to try and figure out where to go.

 

I also booked my tour to Alcatraz to which I am going to on Weds. Cannot wait. I have been told they want to close the island at some point as it is not 100% safe anymore for tourists, so it is great to be able to go.

I was also able to choose my seats for all my remaining flights and print all my paperwoork. Well Brian did that for me, bless him.

Everything is set and I am excited, sad, scared, all at once.

We had Monday night-left-over-night dinner and Chrissie and Ashley joined us for that. Afterwards we settled for checking all our emails and TV. Great finish of my last Gina-and-Brian-day!

Heute war es ein wenig stressig fuer mich. Ich hatte die Jugendherberge in san Francisco schon gestern gebucht und bin nun im Adelaide Hostel von Dienstag bis Freitag. Es gibt so viele Herbergen in S.F., dass es schwer war die beste zu finden. Aber ich habe diese genommen, weil die einen Abholservice vom Flughafen haben. Also muss ich mir keine Gedanken ueber den Weg machen. Und ich kann den gleichen Service fuer die Rueckfahrt nehmen.

Ich habe auch meine Tour auf Alcatraz gebucht und werde das am Mittwoch machen. Ich habe mir sagen lassen, dass die Insel bald gesperrt wird, weil es nicht mehr Touristen sicher sein wird. Also weiss man nie.

Dann hat Brian fuer mich alle Tickets gedruckt und ich konnte meine Sitplaetze fuer alle Fluege bestimmen, also nicht nur fuer Dienstag, sondern auch fuer Freitag von San Francisco nach Sydney. Ich sitze in Reihe 60 von 75 und alle Reihen haben insgesamt 11 Plaetze, also glaub ich, dass ich mit einem neuen A380 fliege.

Wir hatten Montag-Abend-Ueberreste Essen und Chrissie und Ashley waren auch da. Danach haben wir uns alle vor unsere Laptops gesetzt und gearbeitet. Ich bin noch uebrig und werde jetzt auch ins Bett gehen. Morgen wird es ein langer Tag.
